  • The Patrol.

The Patrol is Tom Petch’s debut feature which won the Raindance Film Festival.

It takes a piercing look at the conflict in Afghanistan through the eyes of a British Army patrol, born from Tom’s frustration at the ineptitude of policy in the region.

He left the military in 1997, never served in Afghanistan, but drew heavily on his own experience to create a film to challenge the perceived wisdom of the time. That the war was both necessary, and could be won.
