MADE BY THE SAS.

It has been a privilege to collaborate with the SAS Regimental Association to tell some of the stories that can be told about its members.

So much of the SAS’s contribution must remain secret, making this a rare opportunity to highlight the qualities of those who have served with the unit: their pursuit of excellence, resilience and selflessness.

The SAS is famous for its wartime origins and operations such as the storming of the Iranian Embassy. But the lives its members have led beyond the Regiment are often no less extraordinary.

They have climbed the world’s highest peaks, rowed oceans, crossed frozen deserts, established charities and saved lives.

MADE BY THE SAS tells the stories of men including Bear Grylls, warrior monk Krishna Thapa and record-breaking polar explorer Louis Rudd, alongside those who first established the Regiment’s Who Dares Wins ethos.

Based on new interviews and privileged access to the SAS Regimental Association archive, the book explores how that ethos shaped the rest of their lives.

Importantly, the book will also raise funds for the Association’s ongoing support of those who need it.

Published on 19 November and available to pre-order now.
